Head of BVS Subsidence
Giles Carter has been selected to join The Subsidence Forum's Executive Committee.
The Subsidence Forum was established to: increase public awareness of subsidence issues; improve the industry's quality and standards and to promote the work of the subsidence industry. The Executive Committee acts as a steering group for the Forum. Their work includes the development of special interest groups to encourage and promote greater liaison between all sectors in relation to specific areas such as tree root related subsidence -
Giles joins the committee alongside representatives from across the industry from large insurers including Aviva and Lloyds Banking Group; loss adjusters such as Crawford and GHG; and suppliers across the ground investigation, mitigation and repair sectors.
Commenting on his appointment Giles said: "It's a great opportunity to be part of the Executive Committee for the Subsidence Forum and to be involved in helping to shape and improve this industry.
