Building Validation Solutions are continually looking for high calibre building surveyors.

 

The role involves investigating and estimating building damage claims on behalf of our insurer clients. You would be 'home-based' and work on a sub-contract basis covering an area around your locality.  Claims decisions will be made on site, you will therefore need to be equipped with the appropriate communication skills. Buildings and construction knowledge is also essential.  At BV Solutions, we have our own in-house training programme, so we are happy to provide training.  We are currently looking for additional surveyors nationally, however we have placed priority in the Exeter, Peterborough and Watford areas.

 

The principle activities involved in the role are: -

 

  • Inspecting damaged areas of a building arising from an insurance claim
  • Determining the cause of damage
  • Preparing a repair specification
  • Communicating with customers
  • Assessing cover available under the buildings insurance policy.
